about

This is the most honest and real music I’ve ever made in my life. The album tells a story through metaphor about being neurodiverse and learning to accept and love myself as being unique. It describes the challenges of the shame we can go through when we’re different and also the elation and high points that can be reached through self acceptance and learning who we are, and what our purpose is in life. My purpose in life is to be unique. My purpose is to be me. My purpose is to create music. I am designed to love and create music.

This album is a statement and a refresh from everything I’ve been in life before. When I was thinking I had to be a certain way. That old way of being doesn’t fit. It was never truly me. Only who I thought I ought to be, and it only made me sad. I’ve learned to keep on letting go of the ideas of who I thought I should be, and who everybody else wanted me to be. I learned to listen to myself, to listen to my heart and what it wants to be. This is me. Starting again. From The Ground Up.
